Curriculum

The Montessori curriculum is a child-centered, hands-on approach to learning that emphasizes developing independence, self-correction, and respect for others. It’s based on the idea that children are naturally curious and eager to learn, and it provides them with opportunities to learn at their own pace and through self-directed activities. The curriculum is structured around five key areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture.

We follow Oxford international books blended with International Montessori curriculum and teaching practices from age group 3 to 6.

We provide a variety of opportunities for children to develop both their gross and fine motor skills. We plan age-appropriate activities for the children.

Once a child can read it opens up a world of imagination. Through use of the Montessori materials, we introduce the phonetic alphabet and sandpaper letters then moving on to word building which is the steppingstones to reading and writing. Children are exposed to a wide variety of literature through books, poems, lyrics, drama and conversation.

Through use of the Montessori apparatus and a balanced and well-planned curriculum we develop the child’s understanding of how mathematics influences our daily lives.

We provide experiences and support that will help children develop a positive self-image of themselves, their families, and others. Children’s mental wellbeing is of paramount importance in these stressful times and we give support and comfort when needed. The Montessori ethos ‘help me to help myself’’ is the backbone of the Montessori philosophy and through a carefully planned curriculum children build their self-esteem and positive social interaction.

If your child is struggling with significant emotional, behavioral, or developmental difficulties, or if they are facing a stressful life event due to problems like anxiety, depression or any other problem, we will help you child in tackling those and assist to get advice from psychology experts.

We have Ms. Anusree P.R, Clinical Psychologist, Msc, M.Phil  Clinical Psychology for helping your child improve the quality of life at home and school, encouraging play, self-help, problem-solving, coping, and enhancing their social skills.

A healthy and nutritious plan for pre-schoolers (from age group 2 to 6) should focus on a balanced diet, emphasizing variety from all food groups, while limiting processed and sugary foods. This includes prioritizing fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy (or fortified alternatives). Encouraging healthy eating habits through family meals and involving children in meal preparation is also crucial. For this, we have a daily nutrition plan designed by qualified nutritionists and dietitians.

We offer dietary support for children from Ms.Unnimary, Diet and Nutritionist, including personalized nutrition plans, food allergy management, and strategies for developing healthy eating habits. Our paediatric dietitians work with families to create balanced meals and snack/lunch ideas tailored to a child's individual needs, including those with allergies or active lifestyles.

We have considered and cater for dietary requirements and allergies and a consultation on what food your child can consume will take place with your child's carer.

When parents know about a food allergy, they can make informed choices about the foods their child eats, and they can communicate their concerns with us to ensure that their child is given with foods that are safe for them.

Note: We are not providing any food from the School, only providing the diet and nutrition plan (for morning snack and lunch) that needed to be included everyday for your child. We will ensure a structured, positive mealtime routine.

An annual medical camp in a school aims to promote student health and well-being by providing preventative healthcare, educating students about healthy habits, and facilitating early detection of potential health issues. These camps can cover a range of services including health screenings, nutritional advice, and hygiene awareness.
